Reykjavík Jazz and Jómfrúin Lækjargötu join forces and present the opening concert of Reykjavík Jazz Festival 2021 on Saturday 28th of August.
Stefán S. Stefánsson has been, and still is, an influential figure on the Icelandic jazz scene with a successful career that has spanned decades. This year his daughter, jazz/soul singer Una Stef, will perform a part of her father’s catalogue. Accompanied by leading Icelandic jazz musicians they will bust out some swinging tunes that travel through time, genres and generations.
