Guito and Rodrigo live in Ólafsfjörður and work in the North Iceland. Together they perform works by artists such as Paulinho da viola, Baden Powell, João Bosco, Djavan, Gonzaguinha, Gilberto Gil, Caetano Veloso and Tom Jobim.

Guito Thomas equals most variants of Brazilian music, versatile guitarist, teacher, singer, songwriter and director of three CDs of his own music. Famous singers in Brazil have recorded Guito’s songs and he has been a sought after member of renowned bands on tour in his home country. Guito moved to Iceland in 2007 and, in addition to teaching, has worked as an organist at Siglufjörður Church. Guito has been passionate about introducing Brazilian music and is currently preparing a textbook in this area as he prepares for his fourth album, which will be released by 2020.

Rodrigo Lopes is a music teacher in three music schools, in Akureyri, Fjallabyggð and at Eyjafjörður Music School. There he teaches drumming and percussion. As a musician, Rodrigo Lopes is versatile, but he has grown to the highest degree of variety of Latin American music.

Special guest is Sigrún Kristbjörg Jónsdóttir, trumpeter and violinist.
