Pianist Kristján Martinsson has been living in Amsterdam for the past 11 years, but occasionally pops up on the hatch and plays either folk music with the duo LalomA, swinging jazz with the Secret Swing Society or original jubilant under the brand K-trios.
He leads an unnamed quartet on Sunday Jazz this time, with Magnús Trygvason Eliassen trombone, Andre Ólafsson bass player and Eiríkur Orra Ólafsson trumpet player following, with a combination of jazz standards and songs by Kristján.
