Beta test period started
We would like to inform you, that our website is under beta test at present. We are doing the following jobs continuously during this period of time: upload all the events planned in Iceland and the events’ venues, correct technical errors that may occur. In case you detect any technical errors or have some suggestions to develop the website, please, do not hesitate to write us through ‘Contact’ section using the ‘Contact form’. If your event or/and venue has not been uploaded here yet, you are requested to fill in the appropriate contact form – either the ‘Submit an event’ or the ‘Submit a venue’ in the ‘Submit’ section. You may do that later on, as well, but we kindly invite you to join us as soon as possible, since free submission is offered during beta test period.

23 Funny Café and Bar Ads
Bars and cafes use chalkboard signs displayed out front as a way to advertise menu specials, upcoming events or entertain and lure potential customers. Most of the time these hand-written, chalk signs are not too funny, but some are clever enough to warrant taking a photo and maybe even posting it online. We collected 23 of funny ones for you.

Chief Epidemiologist and Chief of Police Sing Together (with English lyrics)
Icelandic celebrities (musicians, actors, athletes, politicians..etc) sing a song together. It was originally about to have a good trip (Bon Voyage), but the lyrics was rewritten to a funny one about to “travel inside the house”, listing the rooms as destinations. From 2:50 you can hear the Chief Epidemiologist, then the Chief Medical Officer, then the Chief of Police. The lyrics in English (Translated by: Andrea Jònsdòttir) Travel indoors You know these are troublesome times With borders closed in many places But lets not be sad, rather hitch a ride To go on a journey and try our luck. Bon voyage, bon voyage, bon voyage. This is a deluxe opportunity Yes lets get our things and travel indoors Bon voyage, lets be glad about our voyage In two meter distance, dear friend. And no more than 19 people in the same place. In life’s restrictions, I fancy best, to take an essential-oil bath Bon voyage, bon voyage, bon voyage. This is a home-spa of the best kind. Ohh we love this pottering about, to do lovely things indoors. Bon voyage, lets be glad about our voyage If your living room is boring And […]
