Icelandic celebrities (musicians, actors, athletes, politicians..etc) sing a song together. It was originally about to have a good trip (Bon Voyage), but the lyrics was rewritten to a funny one about to “travel inside the house”, listing the rooms as destinations. From 2:50 you can hear the Chief Epidemiologist, then the Chief Medical Officer, then the Chief of Police. The lyrics in English (Translated by: Andrea Jònsdòttir) Travel indoors You know these are troublesome times With borders closed in many places But lets not be sad, rather hitch a ride To go on a journey and try our luck. Bon voyage, bon voyage, bon voyage. This is a deluxe opportunity Yes lets get our things and travel indoors Bon voyage, lets be glad about our voyage In two meter distance, dear friend. And no more than 19 people in the same place. In life’s restrictions, I fancy best, to take an essential-oil bath Bon voyage, bon voyage, bon voyage. This is a home-spa of the best kind. Ohh we love this pottering about, to do lovely things indoors. Bon voyage, lets be glad about our voyage If your living room is boring And […]

According to the bookmakers, Daði & Gagnamagni is clearly predicted to win Eurovision. It seems from his twitter post that actor Russel Crowe is in this opinion as well.
Iceland is famous not only for its natural beauty but also for its excellent musicians. Today, one of them starts heading towards world-fame by Eurovision. Five songs will compete for the ultimate prize of Söngvakeppnin in Laugardalshöll on Saturday 29 February. It will be a star studded night. Hatari will perform, as will the Eurovision 2019 televote winners Norway’s KEiiNO. But the main attractions are, of course, the five hopeful acts. Ísold og Helga – Meet Me Halfway Daði & Gagnamagni – Think About Things Nína Dagbjört – Echo Iva – Oculis Videre Dimma – Almyrkvi A fantastic afterparty will be held at IÐNÓ!
